I bought these at a Chinese silk farm over 10 years ago, to use on a Chinese chair. They always seemed too nice to use! I bought them as silk, but now I am not sure if they are, so assume not. They are in original wrapping. They have been made with another layer behind to make them stronger. The backs are the plainer pattern. Pale yellow with light brown, caramel Chinese characters. Piping separates the main body from the inset panel. They are approx 43 x42 cms
