➵ 1950s 76" Silver Mexican Wedding Necklace and Screwback Earrings Jewelry Set, Lasso Ball Link Chain ➵ Alpaca silver (German silver) extra long wedding lasso necklace and earring set that, although they are now about 70 years old, carry beautiful vibrant patina, and delicate silver work intact. These types of chains were used in Mexican weddings, and draped over the bride and groom. Hence, they are extra long. There is no clasp or opening. Comes with original screwback earrings--which tells us this jewelry set is circa 1950s--which are marked on the back ALPACA.
➵ The necklace measures 80" in length and so about 40" when worn doubled, and in great vintage condition. Be aware that the fine balls and links can be easily bent, and in fact, they are not meant to be perfectly shaped. Each link and ball is slightly different due to being all handmade.
