Incolay Studios vintage romances of history "Anthony and Cleopatra" stone plate

This limited edition plate # 12702 depicts one of the great romances of history. Handcrafted of incolay stone by the artisans of Incolay Studios of California. First issue by Carl Romanelli was permanently closed in 1979. His signature is carved under the cat at Cleopatras feet. Limited edition was closed in 1979. The stone is dark red marbled with a cream raised detailed design of Anthony and Cleopatra, to me, resembling a cameo carving. It measures 10 1/4" across X 1" D. Hang it on the wall or use on a plate stand. Hanging hole in the back. Excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Light surface scratches and a few small black scuffs on the raised design.
