Vintage 1980s Tahitian Tribal Handcrafted Cowrie Shell Pendant Necklace
This lovely Tribal necklace was obtained at a Sale in East Appalachia Tn.It was purchased in the 1980s when the couple, who has now passed, served as missionaries in Tahiti.
The necklace is quite heavy and would be worn during cultural celebrations or dances .It is handmade using Cowrie Shells along with red accent beads. The necklace is in beautiful vintage condition.
Measurements are in the pics ..necklace has a 13 inch drop.
