As shown. See all photos. Belonged to my late mother. Possibly picked up at this now-closed shop in Tubac, Arizona when we passed through in the summer of 2000. Could use on floor, table or wall.

20.75” x 34”

“This vintage tapestry in colorful tone made of 100% wool yarn featuring four Otavalos women wearing traditional ponchos with iconic hats, braided hair and short fringes finish on both sides.

The Otavalos are an indigenous people native to the Andean mountains of Imbabura Province in northern Ecuador. They are easily identified by their traditional costume. Women are dressed in ponchos with fedoras (felt hats) and shimba (long braids).”

20.75” x 34”

Artist is possibly Olga Fisch from the 1950s, or it’s someone imitating her work. Price tag still attached suggests my mother paid $29.
