It contains processed wheat straw and tackifier, a natural powder used in hydro seeding that sticks together when wet. This sticky quality keeps the straw from washing or blowing away to keep your grass seed protected from the elements. Packaged in a convenient, UV-protected poly bag, the bag can be stored outside. For every 5 lbs. to 7 lbs. of grass seed spread, use 2 bales of EZ-STRAW Seeding Mulch.
